May Restart and my memory garden

Monday, May 18, 2020

The last few weeks I have found several rest areas on these odd days I traveling the Spark trail (the last three months (March to May) I need to thank my Spark friends for helping to keep me going on the days I wanted to give up. thank you for the support and encouragement I was so close to a goal I set in Jan to 139 pounds for Bloomsday which should have been May 3. I did find the scales made its way to 147 pounds ! Today it stopped at 144pounds
Two blogs today reminded today I need to buy my ticket and get back on the Spark trail and not let things push me off the tracks from being able to saying hello to the 130’s buy July 18 Th.
Jan reminded me ‘‘Isn't it great to know if we go off track--we can get right back on? It need not be the end of the world! The important thing is to not stay there but get back quickly!”_
So I got back up and Racey and went walking and had a healthy breakfast when we got home.
Meals planned and posted on the fridge.

Lynda shared we may have to start our journey but we need to keep going. Summer is arriving and we need to fit in our summer cloths so we can be like her grandkids and jump off the dock into the lake and enjoy.

I enjoyed working in my Memory Garden for family and friends who watching down over us. I have a special for Spark friends who have family in heaven watching over them as well.
Here is my garden

I also gave up waiting for the beauty shops to open in area so colored my hair . followed advice from some Sparks friends don’t leave it on as long as the box tells you. The first time you try it good advice. I like it and its easier to take care still not brave enough to cut the back did my bangs sure glad hair grows

Lovely memory garden, Fran. Racey is beautiful. What kind of pup is she/he? She/he looks like my Carlie, who happens to be Havanese and a year old. My Carlie is also white.
    Stay well. emoticon

You did a great job on hair, I wish you could cut my bangs. They have now reached that stage where they are just annoying! I am relying on barrettes to keep them out of my face, to chicken to cut my own. You are doing great! You are right, as long as we keep plugging away at this we are okay.

Hi Fran, boy it has been difficult the last few months, sometimes I wondered if I could go on, so I have been very thankful for our chats everyday. You helped me a lot. We struggle but we are good sparkers and we carry on, so good to have our good spark buddies help us. Your positive, never give up attitude, is a plus. Good thing we had our yards to work in. Hard when we could not go anywhere. I love your yard so green and beautiful now, always love your flowers and decorations and seeing Racey watching you work. I think you did a good job on your hair, looks shiny too. We all have learned how to do new things for ourselves for the time being. We are strong and we are smart. we are super sparkers. Loved your blog. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Your photos are great. I also colored my own hair about 3.5 weeks ago. Our salons are open and this week I am getting a haircut. I cannot wait.

Fran, you're doing great! You haven't left teh Spark trail. The trail is full of rest stops, u-turns, and changes. The important thing is that you haven't given up. We are all learning on this journey and figuring it out as we go. So you're doing a great job. I'm glad you're getting your exercise with Racey and I love your attitude. Your hair is lovely, Fran. We are all having to do a lot of things at home right now so we have to hang in there. You can do it, my friend... we're doing this journey together and you have a lot of people who love and support you. We are all cheering you on!! Sending lots of love and hugs... emoticon

Such a lovely garden filled with love and caring. Thank you for thinking of my family, as well.

You did a very nice job and I know you are proud of yourself. You may never go back! Cutting will come second hand after you do it awhile.
Take it from someone who only goes to the hair dresser every 6 years or so. emoticon

Your garden is always so beautiful! And yes, sometimes we have to try something we've never done before like coloring the hair! And cutting it, too. Good job. My stylist isn't available yet, but eventually!

    HUGS and hang in there.

Love the photos and, most importantly, the positive attitude. Spring is a great time to get back on the Spark trail and you're doing great with your menu posted and walks with Racey. As always, I love your memory garden - such a special place.

I think you're doing great Fran---and I understand you coloring your hair. Mine is all drab and grown out---But I'm afraid my hair would turn orange or be like straw if I tried to put the highlights in ... (Happened before) .. But now my hairdresser is only open to doing hair cute---No time for color so it will have to wait. ...:::Thanks for reading my blog today, and for mentioning it in this blog! ... I hope things will begin to lift soon. ... Take care and together we will stay on track!
