The first 25 pounds DONE

This week I finally reached the first 25 pound loss. I reset the ticker for the next 25 pound loss.
Meanwhile all the clothes that are to large for me, I give away. I don't want to go there again.

I plan to lose 5.5 pounds a month for the next 5 month. I believe this to be reasonable, doable and can make a plan every week as what I'm willing to do to accomplish this. day by day. I will not give up until I reach my ultimate goal. Slowly and surely I will do this! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    The important thing is to keep going! Some months you may lose more than 5.5 and some months less. When I was losing I didn't have a goal of x lbs/month. figured that what I was doing to lose weight was what I'd be doing for life.

    Yes! A great plan. As I lost my weight I had a range of sizes. I had a lot of older clothes that didn't fit me any more, but I didn't throw them out. Waist sizes 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 inches.

    When I got to fit into my 36 again I got rid of the 40, when I fit into 34 again I got rid of the 38-s. Today I'm 32 and have been for quite a few years now. I know exactly what you mean, "I don't want to go there again."

    5.5 pounds a month is a great plan, very realistic, and not extreme.
