Today as I got another message about the cancelled guild meeting next week something overtook me and I decided I could do something several of the ladies have asked for. So first I called my daughter who makes FB groups all the time as a fund raiser. Followed her instructions and started a FB group for my guild. Then I managed to send out an email to all the members at once. Last time I looked at FB we had 3 members and 2 new photos of quilts people have made during this mess.

I did take 2 of my 3 machines to the store for fixing and tuning today and then did a bit of grocery shopping while I left Buck at home in his crate. With temps over 90 today I couldn't take him in the car.

Thank fulls
1. tried a new thing that wasn't as hard as I expected
2. even in the heat it was a wonderful day for a drive
3. sesame chicken and low mien for dinner from the deli at the big store in Marshall

Tomorrow is a really big day. My hair is bone straight without a perm and it's getting long enough that the cowlicks don't even stand up anymore. At 2:30 tomorrow afternoon I get that all fixed. Hopefully back to normal visits again. I will also do all the normal things I should do everyday....sew masks, wash clothes, vacuum and sew some more.

Busy day for you starting off by doing the FB group for your guild.
You are right about leaving Buck home today safely in his crate, over 90 is too hot for any humqn or animal to sit in a car for any length of time.
By golly you are going to spiffy with the new do tomorrow, good that you got in .
So my day went fairly quickly today. I cleaned the house, well most of it. I left the kitchen floor and Texas room to be swept and scrubbed tomorrow, but did scrub both bathrooms and cleaned them out. Put some stuff where it should be, things get left out (clothes ) so put them where they needed to go. I made dinner for the two of us, straightened up the kitchen after dinner. Went down to the Texas room and did sewing tonight. Got all of the first 3 patterned squares finished 3 to each set. Then looked at the pattern that came today on my computer. Might go back down and cut out the pieces on cardboard tomorrow, just didn't feel like doing so tonight. So that will be four squares of #4 to do. For each pattern, I have made each one in the 4 varieties in the same color. Pattern 5 will start the next colors I will use.

Had to chuckle at your hair. Mine is no better but I don't do perms. I color. And I didn't want to color before cutting so she can see the amount that has to be cut off. I go for a cut on 6/7. I know there are so many in need. If we were still in TX. I would have gotten it done 2 wks ago.

    Good going with the activities!
