~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I admit that I am really frustrated because I had a 4 pound gain. I have had awesome fitness minutes and been weighing and measuring everything. My average carbs are 40 and that is way too high and my protein is actually higher this week. I will do better this week. I will take a look at my sodium levels as well.
I will also admit that my stress level is HIGH HIGH HIGH. I had an appointment with my psychiatrist yesterday and another one with my therapist this morning. My best friend is having some sort of a nervous breakdown & that has me stressed. My eldest son is having surgery on Monday. My other son is coming up on Monday to be here for his brother and to see my eldest granddaughter (his daughter) who is expecting a baby in August and making me a great-grandmama before my time. There are ongoing mask & covid issues at work. Our town is a HOT SPOT right now. I can't teach my swim students until at least August... even though I am back in the pool. We are having to police keeping people in the class 10 feet apart. Social unrest. Violence. So much more. STRESS IS RULING MY LIFE RIGHT NOW. I need to let it go but can't seem to do it.
Thanks for taking the journey with me. Bright blessings to you all.
    It has to mostly be water for one reason or another. While I think your calories are a little high, they are not so high that you gained 4 pounds much other than water.
    It will come off next week.
    Sounds like way too much stress for your body. Normal life is stressful and then we add this COVID stuff and it can push it over the top. Try and do something for yourself to relax. Hugs
    Don't stress about the gain. It will come off. You have done this before and you can do it again. Try not to worry about things you can't control. Just take the steps with what you can control. Hope your Friday is better!
    It's the stress-causing your weight gain. It causes the release of something in your blood. On one of the keto, groups talk about stress knotting you out of ketosis. I would be stressed out to Dawn. I hope your son has a quick recovery. That great grandbaby will be here before you no it. It's hard not to freak out being in public with people without mask getting so close to you. Praying for your family and friend. It's normal to be stress with all you are going through. Just do the best you can. I love you and praying for you.
    One day at a time . . . .one step at a time. y husband is very fond of telling me to not worry about those things over which I have no control . . . or in other words if you can't do anything about it . . . let it go and save real worry for those things you can do something about. Thinking of you my friend and wishing you better times.
