Power Thought for June 19
Friday, June 19, 2020
Today I received Joyce Meyer's book "Power Thoughts Devotional - 365 DAILY INSPIRATIONS FOR WINNING THE BATTLE OF THE MIND." It is my intention to post my take on the day's scripture (Isaiah 40:31) and Meyer's discussion, the night before. Indeed [those who] "wait on God" (look to God for their strength) "shall run and not be weary" and "walk and not faint or become tired" more so than those who let their burdens lessen their faith and resolve. Whenever I face difficulty, I draw upon my inner power to persevere and overcome or outlast it with the help of God who is my savior.
Regarding the situation in Atlanta, it is my hope and prayer that the police force will ride out the storm, that the police will not become weary, and order will prevail with the help and guidance of those in charge.
