You don't have to be "on" each day

I received the best news from my oncologist on Tuesday. "Your CatScan came out negative. I am so happy for you.!! Grateful, yes! BUT, I come home, tired, needing to workout, needing those minutes to record, but nothing. Wednesday & Thursday, the same. Why Lord am I without the boost to go out and do my walks? I need the minutes. ?? Well, after a few minutes of prayer, I resigned that this week was not going to be the most physical week and that was ok. I do not have to be on high performance each day. I am still in recovery mode.
AS much as I want to record those minutes each day, and Lord knows they are not much, it's better for my body that I do not push physically or mentally. I was giving myself a hard time and that was taking a toll. Once I gave myself the break, I felt better and today the cloud is lifted.
So now, I hope to remind myself & If you are feeling this way when you read this, I hope you give yourself the grace of peace and comfort when your day has a little cloud hovering and not to take a long guilt trip. Right? we do not need that! Also, I give you a SPIRITUAL HUG and wish you a restful day!
