Virtual Lesson in Consistency

A few weeks ago, our gym started offering virtual classes. I enrolled in a Wednesday morning training class for beginners. I use weights and a small weighted ball for strength, there is stretching, balance work, and cardio as well.

At first, I was embarrassed because I could barely keep up or even use the weights. But, I kept going to class. I added the weights. I got a little stronger. Today I realized, maybe it is time to add the Monday class as well.

The lesson is that consistency is the key. I kept at it. I kept improving and I kept moving. Next week, I am going to add a second class.

The best part is that these classes are recorded. So, even when I go back to work in the fall, it won't matter. I will still be able to do the class when I get home. I hope all gyms keep up these virtual classes.
