Love the Life You Live
Tuesday, July 07, 2020
I had hoped for a different life. I wanted to be retired by now, surrounded by my children and grandkids. Instead, I find myself still working, with family far away.
I have a good life, but not the life that I had planned. Most people I have chosen to be thankful for what I have.
There are some things that I cannot change. As much as I tried, I could not restore a broken marriage, no matter how hard I tried. My plan was to stay with “Mr. Wonderful” when I married him. The day came when I realized that “Mr Wonderful” was not good for me, and I had to move on. After the divorce, I met and later married “Really Great Guy”. He is as good for me as I am for him.
I had to learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow.- (Albert Einstein)
If I had not let go of the broken dreams, I never would have been able to create a new life and find healing, wholeness and happiness.
I had to let go of what did not work in order to find the life that God intended for me to live.
