Baked Pork Chops over Tarragon Apples
Wednesday, July 08, 2020
This week, I prepared Baked Pork Chops over Tarragon Apples on page 249 of the Against the Grain cookbook.
The recipe called for 1 small, green apple but I found that one small green apple wasn't enough so luckily, I had one Gala apple in the fridge so I added it as well.
I also didn't have any apple juice so I substituted unsweetened apple sauce in its place.
Overall, this recipe was a huge fail. I didn't care for the flavours and the pork was dry and was like eating leather. Very disappointing.
I rate this one 1/5. My husband has said he will eat the rest of them. We bought me a rotisserie chicken for the next few nights until I figure out what to prepare next.
