I recently watched a video that I found helpful so I am sharing the information with my Spark friends.

Organization is more important than will-power for weight loss.
If we don't plan ahead, we will need will-power all day long. Making decisions all day can be exhausting. If we've pre-planned the day, the more successful we are.
We will still need will-power for the unexpected, like when someone brings home our favorite cookies.

This makes sense. It reduces some of the emotions that can derail our success. Losing weight can be an exhausting inner struggle when we are confronted with constant decisions. If we have pre-planned the course for the day, the decisions are already made. Following the plan becomes a habit. Being organized puts us in charge.
