Wrapping up Week 1

Tomorrow starts Week 2 of the Summer 5% Challenge, so I wanted to review what has gone well and what I might do differently next week.
Successes:
Kept my food and exercise journal faithfully, every day
Exceeded my commitment for fitness minutes and got some in every day
Invited family members on my walks so I got some company and they got some steps
Tried a couple of new recipes that were well-received
Participated on the team page daily
Offered support to other team members
Kept my commitment to avoid unplanned snacks
Areas for improvement:
Plan dinner ahead so I'm not scrambling to find something to cook (or telling everyone to fend for themselves)
Keep more fruits/veggies on hand and prepped
Eat a healthier breakfast (add some protein, some dairy, some fruit...)
I'm sure there's lots more room for improvement, but my son just asked me to come hang out so off I go! :-)
