Yesterday I had what was probably the most perfect day I will ever have. Nutrition was the best it has been in a long time, exercise was really great, I was able to meditate, I got a bunch of cleaning done, I went shopping with Fritzy, and I even found a new sparkling water that I really love! When we went shopping we got some really good groceries including some avocados and we made homemade guacamole last night and had nachos that were amazing. I also got some really good fresh peaches although I wasn't able to get Fritzy to try those just yet. At the Dollar Store Fritzy got some new headphones and I got cleaning supplies.
Nutrition: My nutrition was really good yesterday. I was in calorie range and I met all of my macros except for sodium and sugars. And I ate a ton of fruits and veggies. I ate all fresh foods and made a stirfry for supper with fresh veggies, noodles, boneless skinless chicken, and soy sauce.
Fitness: Since I don't have a Fitbit right now I can't track my steps but I was pretty active yesterday and I did 25 minutes of yoga, which was a good amount. I have been doing well with fitness lately and today is my rest day so I won't be working out but I will be doing some cleaning and organizing around the house.
Water: I've stopped drinking soda. I found a new caffeinated sparkling water that is only 5 calories and has no added sweeteners and tastes very good so I have started drinking that in addition to the other water I drink. I just have to start drinking more plain water and tracking it and less coffee.
Cigars: I am trying to decide what to do about my money jar and about the $50 dollars in the bank per month for cigarette rewards. I think I will put the $50 in at the beginning of the month and then throughout the month add money to the jar so at the end of the month we have something to go to the store with and spend.
Meditation: I did meditate yesterday and it went really well, better than I was expecting for having been away from it for so long. I wondered why I hadn't meditated in so long when it felt so good to do so!
Sleep: I slept a little last night, but lacking on sleep right now. When I'm busy I tend to push it with things and exhaust myself and I shouldn't do that.
Motivation: My motivation right now is giving up soda. I'm doing really well with that and with drinking more water. I'm working towards drinking more regular water but for now just giving up soda has been a big deal for me.
Non-Scale Victory: My nonscale victory lately is that I got a "Go Joe (Biden) Go" shirt and it is in a size Large and it fits! So I can actually wear it!!
Writing: I've been so busy with my fitness/nutrition stuff that I've had no time for writing but I may start making the time.
Healthy Coping: I am not emotionally eating late at night right now and instead practicing better coping mechanisms and that is really what I've been working on lately.
