Not sure if you know, I was on here a few years back.
My first page was under GeorgiaGirl23.
Mom made it up for me my Senior year in High School.
We done the exercises and the dieting together.
I lost a lot of weight.
Went from an 18 down to a 12.
Felt good and had a lot of energy.
However, there was a lot of things that were missing.
1) Never really changed the negativity in my head.
2) Wasn't doing it for myself, I was doing it for my family.
3) Didn't keep up with the good habits when I started working.
That is the reason why I gained all the weight back.
And then some on top of that.
Was extremely uncomfortable in my own skin.
Didn't feel right in public. Yeah I know.
So, I started Spark Back Close to the End of 2015.
Lost Down to a size 16. Had better energy.
Got married to Chris in 2016. Had a lovely home wedding.
Will share the pictures later if you are interested.
Long story short, didn't take long to gain the weight back again.
Added stress of being a new wife, working, and junk food.
(Not to mention family constantly telling me I need to lose weight).
I know they meant well but it stressed me out even more.
Not to mention, I wasn't liking the job I was at.
Though I been there for 5 yrs.
Felt like I was getting close to burn out.
Had pressure sores, they wanted to over work me.
And I couldn't get a break. Said bye bye to that job.
Started eating better, exercising, tracking my food.
Drinking my water and getting involved in my SP groups.
Thank you to all of my wonderful friends and leaders on here.
Because of you (and my supportive hubby). I lost 25 pounds.
Feeling better, don't have as much joint pain, and skin looks much better.
I am here for you too on your journey. I believe in giving back.
