100 Days | Phase 2 - Day 84-86 – Restful Weekend & Unusual Flowers

EVENING REPORT
I did well this weekend. I am used to taking care of my back so I took things very easy this weekend. I stayed close to home. When I felt up to it, I did some light work and straightening up. I rested when I needed to and moved when I needed to, being careful not to twist or bend the wrong way. I was careful to stay within my food intake and I only did some easy walking in between. I still feel some stiffness around my SI joint but my back is feeling much better.
Today I had to do some errands, a friend drove me, and around the errands we stopped at a lovely shopping center. It seemed so strange to see a place so beautifully decorated and hardly any customers there. Those that were there were wearing masks, as we were too. It is still a very strange world these days. I did take snaps of some of the flowers… I love flowers and these were so pretty and many were very unusual – varieties I’ve never seen before, some looked like different flowers growing OUT of other flowers. Very interesting. But I loved them!
First - scenery on the drive up...
Then the amazing flowers...
Although we moved slowly around the stores and shopping areas, I got some great exercise today and thankfully my back still feels good tonight.
I am all cleaned up from the day and relaxing now. I hope you all had a good day and wish you a great Tuesday.
Today’s Success:
1. Ate healthy.
2. Walked (carefully) for 2 hours.
3. Did selected strength training exercises (carefully) in early morning.

Good to hear your back is feeling better. I love flowers too. There were some lovely ones in a park in Oslo, Norway - got a lot of pics of some I had never seen before. Someone is taking really good care of these flowers in your blog! 174 days ago

How wonderful that those flowers have been so beautifully tended at a shopping mall despite the lack of customers!! Somebody's gotta be doing that out of sheer love . . . and you are doing a wonderful job tending YOU too!! 174 days ago

Good Morning its Tuesday and Tuesday is a good day, you survived Monday. And tomorrow is Wednesday, half way through your week! Kate Summers Lets count our Blessing not our problems today It was another hot day but we got out early for our and hung around the house. They have issued a heat advisory for the next four days and could be extended. They are still fighting about the new rules for eating our and the gym they mayor said if you want schools to open we have to flatten the curve. The grass and flowers sure need lots of water I have been twice a day. And the grass is still yellow in places. My Easter lily makes me smile and reminds remember how blessed I am I can we will bloom again it has. Don’t forget your water.
Glad you had a good outing and restful week end have not been in a mall since Feb ! no desire to go right now the grocery store is enough for me . the stores are complaining of the mask rules hurting business and we have one of the highest virus counts in the state 200 positive test over the week end and 29 people in the hospital . Love your pictures they make me smile and racey wants to roll in your grass. glad your back is better . hugs and snuggles from our house. 174 days ago
