Henry's burrs seem to be pretty much all removed, patiently and over time . . . and he thinks you all for your kind concern. I'll keep checking the "burr patch" area but so far he's not been acquiring any more, so I'm hopeful too that I've got 'em all, at least for now!!

Grocery run, threw in some laundry, plus really thorough scrub of the kitchen too after I got home . . . DH is playing golf with his guy buddies and it was just a good time to tackle it systematically, including cupboard doors (AND the inside of the pan sliding drawer), appliances, counter tops and back splash, baseboards and of course the floor. Smells much fresher, looks better too of course and is making me feel pretty virtuous.

Henry was not very happy about spending a lengthy period of time outdoors, but I put out fresh water (refilled several times) and gave him a chew toy and some intermittent patting!! It's not so hot today and there's plenty of (burr free) shade in the back yard.

Have to say, that "Truth About Obesity" documentary is making me much more conscious of the calorie burn from "activities of daily living"; like my vigorous gardening and the kitchen cleaning.

Now: big glass of cold water and ice, and time for ME to find a shady patch!!
