Always Start Small

So I seem to be totally back to my normal self after going through that whole cataclysm of emotions the past week or so. If you ever find yourself being offered a HUGE opportunity in your life, expect to end up feeling incredibly overwhelmed and going through a whole spectrum of emotions. But what's most important is to give yourself the time you need to really think things through. And while I've continued to be frustrated about having to wait for a response, it has ultimately been a good thing. It has given me the time I need to truly think things through and make the right decisions as far as my career goes. But now that I'm starting to sort things out, I am starting to make the choices I need to in order to move me back towards health and nutrition and balancing my life in a satisfactory way.

Nutrition: I got groceries this morning and have a lot of healthy food now so I am ready to start cooking and making meal plans and even start tracking my food again. It is going to be a slow process, but I think that is better. I have learned that when you are trying to take on new habits, a little bit at a time ultimately results in more success than trying to take on everything at once. So I have taken the first step and will be spending some extra time on Spark today getting myself prepared to get back on track.

Fitness: My body is starting to look and feel out of shape. It is definitely time to get back to working out. While I do all of my Sparking today I am going to take some special time in order to put together a new workout plan and commit to working out for at least 10 minutes tomorrow morning. I feel it is time to get back in the groove of things and since I'm keeping up really well with my work, I feel now is the time to start balancing more things.

Meditation: Meditation is one of those things that you have to be in the habit of or it always gets pushed aside. It's one of those things that you know needs to be high on the priority list, but when you are busy, it always gets overlooked. It is on my list of things to get back to doing because it has always been so important to me for so many reasons, but to be honest, getting my food and fitness in line is going to be first on the list right now.

Writing: I have been extremely busy with my entire career. I worked late last night posting a new video on my website and Facebook author page and people seem to really like the videos, so I'm going to try to post videos more often. I plan on doing a live feed if Elizabeth offers me representation. I submitted two stories and a poem yesterday so I do have more material out there right now. I plan on doing some work later today but today is mostly going to be spent on getting back on track with my health endeavours and starting to make some time for that in my life as well.
