Falling off the bandwagon and I need suggestions

Tuesday, August 11, 2020

Today has been a day! It started early this morning waking up feeling ravenous. It has stuck with me all day. I can't get enough to eat although I am trying to eat healthy. I haven't exercised and I am sleepy during the day. I know that i need to exercise and that fifteen minutes of walking my dog is not helping. Please tell me what to do when you feel this way because I am scaring myself.

Sometimes it's walking, sometimes it's taking a much needed rest day. It's hard to tell, sometimes.

When I feel like this, I force myself to workout, and I'm glad I did. emoticon If I feel super hungry, I will serve myself on a smaller plate. emoticon It works!!!! emoticon Good luck; hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you!!! emoticon

It is tough. I journal a lot and try to eat real meals 4 hours apart. I find if I don't eat enough at meals I tend to graze. It's pretty hot for exercise, but before long you'll be cycling again.

My go to is walk and then walk some more. It also helps me if I have an easily accessible go to snack ready.... at the moment it is cut up watermelon for when I get super hungry.

My suggestion would be to have protein based breakfast, and while not eliminate carbs, reducing them helps keep my appetite at bay. Also with exercise, try to get at least 30 minutes of cardio most days of the week. I joined an online “on demand” video program, but there are many videos available on SP and YouTube. After a couple weeks of doing it regularly, it also helps with mood and staying on program.

Good luck. Just do the next right thing!

Have you explored the fitness work outs on spark people.
I challenge my self to aim for 10,000 steps by a set time if you have a tracker or pedometer. I enjoy putting music on an just moving around the living room.
Spark has lot of exercise tips
Go to the start page roll mouse over topics to you come to learn click and then pick 28day program I enjoyed it and have done it more than once also check out the fitness videos the have some fun ones they also have a library of exercise to make your own plan.

Eating is a challenge for me too I have tried measuring my snacks and putting in left over containers challenge my self to drink some water before I garb a snack. Fruit is a good idea that some one shared but this summer in my area that is hard this year have yet to find good fruit. So I have been getting frozen fruit .
thanks for the good keep sparking emoticon emoticon emoticon

This may sound funny but anytime I used to eat too many carbs or especially at night I always woke up ravenous in the morning! Thank heavens that changed drastically for me and my husband when we at 1st went on the keto lifestyle but lately we have added back some fruits so it's more modified but definitely a lot less carbs!

I try to limit mysself to 1~2 sacks between meals. This usually works. Get some low calorie snacks like rice cakes. When tired, I take naps. Hope this helps.
