These are pics from my time up north a few weeks ago. Tettegouche was an amazing state park that I plan on visiting again and taking a different trail next time. The amazing thing about all of these state parks is the natural beauty and how big they are. The fact that people had the foresight years ago to preserve these forests and trails and to make sure people could enjoy them for years to come. There are easy trails through the area and there are some difficult trails. We took a combination of both. This was probably my favorite hike of the 4 that we did.
Come with me virtually and enjoy!
The water was so clean and my feet were so hot after walking for several miles and this felt so good putting them in the nice cold water!
I loved this rock! It looks like it is from the moon!
My beloved who realized walking through state parks is so much fun!
Thanks so much for coming along with me! I hope you enjoyed the time looking at the wonderful natural beauty and it will inspire you to find something to do out in nature. A small walk or a long hike. Whatever makes your soul happy! Until next time, spark on!
Amazing scenery, Holly! I loved the pics. I tried to visualize being in each one, and I could almost smell the fresh air and hear the running river. I am SO HAPPY for you and your dear husband...that you got to experience such beauty together! Making fun memories. Y’all are so cute together. ❤️
Good morning Holly, I love the rock too. The pic of the falls water coming through the rock was awesome. I love walks in the woods. So glad you got to put your feet into the water. Didn't it refresh you? I love the sounds of the water moving. Thank you so much for sharing. It's making me smile. I just told my husband this is reminded me of us going to Mt Rainer in Washington state. So much beauty to see. I love your blog.
