Day 261: Things are Looking Up

"Somewhere in there, among the worries, questions, advice and advertising jingles, lives your intuition, your true 'inner voice.' You can hear it to the extent that you give it your attention." (Martha Beck)
Quarantine Day #182
Hello, my lovely friends!
Thank you all for all the comments on yesterday’s blog. It looks like so many of us are doing the same thing, staying home and only going out when absolutely needed. It just amazes me how we’re all going through the same thing no matter where we are.
The other night my mom said that she was craving beans and I thought okay if that will get her to eat something other than yogurt and oatmeal. Last night I made tostadas and she had a couple of them and was a different person. Her mood changed. Who knew beans would do wonders for her. She laughed and told me good ole Mexican food did it. This is a good sign that she is started to feel like herself again. My mom did call into Kaiser and talk to the pharmacy and they told her that she needed to eat more because the medicine she takes can’t be on am empty stomach.
My sister called yesterday and my mom told her everything that happened and now my sister is worried about her. The two of them are the same and worry about everything and things that they can’t control. I knew that my sister would try to find a way to come visit and sure enough later on she texted me and said she is going to come out in a few weeks. It’s just like when she had her problems with her veins, my mom flew out to see her and now my sister wants to do the same. She said that she might bring Cuinn out too. That would be so nice if he came out as well. Maybe we could even do some decorating together.
Be safe! BIG HUGS AND LOVES TO YOU ALL!!!
