The Excitement of a Long Weekend

So our weekend has officially started! Early? Yes. Fritzy is doing homeschooling tomorrow (they're having some hybrid classes although it's rare for him to get a Friday off), so he is here at home tonight and for the rest of the weekend. I screwed up my nutrition right away this morning because I ended up falling asleep at about midnight and sleeping till 8AM and then didn't want to make breakfast and put off food for way too long and so my eating just all went downhill and all my plans fell apart. However, I really didn't eat unhealthy food. I ate raisin bran and we had Subway tonight (I ate tuna with a ton of veggies and sweet onion sauce). And all things considered I didn't drink as much soda as I normally do on bad days. So really I didn't do all that badly!

I also exercised last night. I did quite a bit of chair yoga. It was the best I'd felt in a very VERY long time. I couldn't wait to do more exercise, but I was way too tired last night to attempt anything more, plus I didn't want to go overboard and then get super sore and not be able to do anything. So I want to do more today but don't know how realistic that is considering how late it already is and I'm not sure how much energy I have left today.

I do want to attempt to do some meditation tonight--that if the internet is willing. It was not last night although I did try to do some hypnosis and made a couple of attempts. The internet has not been loading anything well lately so it's made doing any meditation difficult. I really have to catch things at the right time. So I will try, hopefully succeed this time.

I've been drinking a bit of water here and there and kind of slowly getting back towards being healthier with my beverages. It's been a slow process because coffee is always most appealing in the evenings and early mornings and soda always seems good mid-day. Although, I am getting more of a taste for ice water again and it does help to give me energy so especially when I take my pills I tend to drink a glass of water.

Not doing as well with cigars. Still smoking a lot. I had an inclination to quit last night, but that quickly evaporated. Bought two more packs this evening and especially because I'm working a lot again I'm smoking a lot again.

Writing is going particularly well right now. I have 3 stories I'm working on and another one that I just came up with and will be starting an outline for. So that is going to keep me busy for quite a while. No news really, though, as I haven't gotten any emails lately. Just working for the most part and that's what I'll be doing tonight.

I also plan to get as much Sparking done tonight as I can. I don't want to leave that in the dust. So it will be a pretty busy night but since it's such a long weekend, I'm happy with that. We don't have a reason to get up early tomorrow so staying up late tonight shouldn't be a problem.
