R I P Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Saturday, September 19, 2020

A great person has passed away. May she rest in peace. She was someone to follow in every way possible. Read about her & one thing that made an impression was when asked about her marriage replied it always helps to be a little deaf. let us hope we are all given time to adjust to the change for all of us.

According to Jewish tradition, a person who dies on Rosh Hashanah, which started at sunset last night, is a tzaddik, a person of great righteousness. Indeed, that was Ruth Baber Ginsburg.

A humble person, she wanted to be remembered as,

"Someone who used whatever talent she had to do her work to the very best of her ability. And to help repair tears in her society, to make things a little better through the use of whatever ability she has. To do something, as my colleague David Souter would say, outside myself. ‘Cause I’ve gotten much more satisfaction for the things that I’ve done for which I was not paid."

I think she will be and for so much more!

Yes, a great woman indeed. I love the advice she got from her Mother in Law.

I was devastated last night when I heard of her passing. You should check out my blog today, I wrote this lovely thing I read on the internet about dying on the holiday Rosh Hashanah, which started yesterday.
