"The best project you will ever work on is you!"
Seven months ago, I entered into the world of remote teaching. Teaching from home has always been more relaxed than entering into the school building. Still, I remember the words of my Superintendent. When the remote learning started, she encouraged all of us teachers with these words; “Take time to look your best!” It makes a difference in my attitude when I fix my hair and makeup, put on a nice shirt, and look my very best for my students.
When I look sharp, I feel sharp. It boosts my confidence and I just feel like smiling more. I may be a little bit more productive. Who knows?
Today I had a meeting with the education team of a student. I was ready and I looked great. Thank you Jackie Coe for encouraging me to take the time to look my best. I feel motivated to work a little harder today because I took your advice!
