Happy first day of fall

out comes the different closet of clothes and a whole new look for outside decorating until oct 1 when Halloween takes over. My favorite 5k would have been Sunday for special Olympics and unbelievably not having my spring and summer 5k season has been the hardest for me thru this covid stuff. My mind wants to go into a depression but my will won’t allow me to go there. I get my down days, cry, blog and go on but not having something for “me” has been hard because I am always doing for others. SparkPeople is the one thing and about the only thing I have which I am so thankful for. Walking is not the same as training and training is not the same without a goal so Monday I am joining a 5% challenge.

    Maybe you can come up with something else that is just for you. An hour a day in a pretty spot to meditate or just chill? Or something else simple that would bring you some joy. I totally understand what the mind wants and what the will won't allow. Big hug, my friend.
