Getting My Fitbit Back

Tuesday, September 22, 2020

A familiar picture. My Charge 4. I got it a few months back and ended up losing the charger for it, so I've ordered a couple new chargers as well as some new wristbands for it. So I am SUPER excited about that. They should be arriving next week. This means I really have to get back in the swing of things as I will be tracking my steps again as well as my exercise and getting more active in general.

I went shopping today and of course put money in the bank for both me and Fritzy and bought a few groceries. I got some healthy food, but wasn't able to get everything I really wanted because of limited funds right now. I did get us started, at least. It should help to get back on the ball and get rolling in the right direction. I tried to make the healthiest choices I could. I've had some trouble with my calories lately, though. I haven't been able to stay within range. I just started tracking again and while before I was mainly just drinking soda and smoking cigars, now I seem to be over-eating again. Whenever I first start tracking again, I tend to go a bit overboard. I don't know why I can't balance it all out. I am working on it, though, and really starting to get back into tracking and planning again. I am going to organize my pantry tonight along with a lot of other things, and really just try to get back on the right track and prepare for when I have my Fitbit again.

I'm preparing my exercise goals for when I have the Fitbit again. I'm going to start with a goal of 3K a day and start tracking all of my exercise on the Charge 4 again. I just want to be more active again. I think that will help my ribs a lot and my back as well. My carpal tunnel and my ankles have been doing better lately, though, as has my sciatica, so I'm happy about that. Being more active and exercising more has definitely helped.

I'm pretty tired this afternoon, but I have a lot still I have to do. One of my fantasy stories got rejected, so I sent it on to a new fantasy magazine that just came out. They're just putting out their first issue, so I thought I might have a better chance with them. We shall see. Always trying to take advantages of opportunities wherever I can. I'm going to try to make a pot of the new flavoured coffee I got and smoke a few cigars and get ready for my evening which will be full of movement and preparation for the next couple of weeks.

I am glad that your are getting your Fitbit back up and running. I use mine everyday to make sure I get my steps in. I know how many steps it is around my walking track in the back field now! Neighbours must think I am crazy walking around in circles.....Hugs, Kat

Glad you have the bands and chargers on order! I love my Charge 4, too. Would be lost w/o it.
