I had a more emphatic first line planned, but beyond saying the leg ulcer blew up again, what is there to say? I don't know what happened. Tuesday, it looked dryer and shallower. There were places it looked like it might be healing. Today, at wound clinic, it was red and juicy. It was bigger and all the edges were rough and raw. Friday, I go into the MRI machine for an interior look at things. There is a suggestion that there is an abscess or two hiding. I am very depressed about this. I have been doing everything the wound nurse has said to do. It doesn't seem to be helping. The thing gets a little better, gives me hope we're on the right track and shortly my leg won't hurt so much. Then it blows up, expands and bashes my hopes. D*mn it all to the seventh flaming level of H*ll.

I am so sorry for all you pain and suffering. This has to be so frustrating. I hope you have some good news after the MRI. The weather here is so changeable. Right now we are enjoying a beautiful sunny day which will be around 70. Yesterday it was the same and my husband and I went to the beach to hopefully find some large clam shells (they sometimes come in with large surf) . We could see how high the water was during the Teddy storm, but very few shells. I got two and have put them in my garden border. I thought it would be windy and cold at the beach but was I WRONG. People were in the water and enjoying the sun. We walked for a while then came home. Fun to do that. It was the first time this year as I hate to go when the tourists have filled our area. Tomorrow my grandkids have the day off from school. I will pick them up and we will go to the Halloween Store. I do like to go to the store, it is a pop up that comes once a year.

I wish you a better day.
