"After a while, you learn that what you really are is all the experiences and all the thoughts you've ever had and all the people who have touched your life, no matter how briefly." (Author Unknown)
Quarantine Day #190
Hello, my lovely friends!
How is everyone? It feels like we’re all in our own version of “The Twilight Zone” and y’all know how much I love that show, but I’m really done living in an episode of it. The truth is we’re all going to be living like this for a while, a long while.
I suspect that most of us will be like this through next year. I know that we won’t be going out the way we used to, but it will be more of only going out to get what we need. It reminds me of what happened after 9/11, so many things changed and that’s what is going to happen now. We might be wearing masks in public for a long time and so many of us will stay apart from others. I think that we will change things and that’s just the way it will be for a while. For all those people who won’t get on board with things you better because it’ll be that way for the next year. We have our container of masks with different designs on them. We have some Halloween and Christmas ones coming too.
We finally got those mums in the flower boxes on the porch. My mom did such a good job with them, but she was sore this morning. My poor mom, she gets tired easily now. She is starting to see that she can’t do all the things she used to do and I know that is hard to realize, but as long as we just change things up like so many of you told me to do. Being outside did do wonders for her attitude thought and maybe she should just get outside a little bit daily. I would love for her to take a walk, but it’s probably not a good idea just yet. She started doing the Leslie Sansone walking videos and really likes them.
We're going to start deep cleaning the house this weekend and get the guest room ready for my sister. We have to clear out the other one for Cuinn. We have everything crossed that he’ll come as well.
Be safe! BIG HUGS AND LOVES TO YOU ALL!!!
