A weekly review - w/c 28th September 2020

My first week of trying to stick to my 2k steps per day has been a mixed bag. Some days I exceeded it and some days it just didn't happen. That's ok though, because no one is perfect!
My weekly weigh in showed a 1.2lb gain today. No surprise there because I have been roughly tracking my food and it has been above maintenance calories for the last few weeks. It's not good to see, but I have to keep my cool and not rush into making more changes. I have a plan for a reason. I have to avoid getting overwhelmed!
I am going to try a bit harder to get my steps this week. I think physical activity is important to assist with mental clarity, which I need now that I am back to working after 2 weeks' leave.
Activity is also good for keeping warm, which is useful around here because winter is definitely setting in!
