Baby steps vs. nothing at all

Saturday, October 10, 2020

Another challenging week, Sparks

We've had two back-to-back losses in the family; all hands on deck @ work (meaning 10-12 hour shifts glued to my seat often holding my pee); have been babysitting my one-year-old grandson since Monday;

while also

Starting a daily 90-minute training program (developing new skillsets), and beginning another job (10 hrs/wk). Not surprisingly, something had to give.

I could have easily used all that as an excuse to do nothing.

I didn't cook or meet my step count every day and had a couple of LNS slips this week, but who cares?! emoticon I found time here and there to do what I could and all those baby steps added up to a lovely 1.5 loss.

Even if it hadn't, I did the best I could this week!

Progress not perfection, sparks.

Just keep moving.

    emoticon @sparkuvu ! All the data comes from a Fit Track Smart Body Scale my son gave me for Mother's Day. emoticon It measures 17 indicators other than weight and BMI and has turned into the best tool to monitor my own behaviors, lol ~ every time I step on that scale, I see immediately if what I've been doing is helping or hindering my progress.

    emoticon Nice loss; you'll want to copy/paste the weight tracker we use to post our progress towards the 5% challenge along side the colorful, detailed, interesting one you have on the weight forum when you edit to add your weight! So, do we have all that info on Spark somewhere, or does your numbers come from somewhere else? Some of your tracking, I had not seen before, and found really interesting.
