Thanksgiving is over but being thankful never is!

My youngest great-granddaughter Violet is all ready for Halloween!
Yes, it's time to be thinking of Halloween and how it's going to be this year. Young ones are anxious to go round to houses, but will anyone be handing out treats or will all doors be closed? Is it even safe in this Pandemic to take children out for that evening? My apartment building usually has tables full of goodies and parents from all over bring their children for treats but I don't think they're doing it this year, in fact I'm sure they're not. We don't really want people coming in our building this year. Sad, isn't it? Are you having Halloween where you live?
Today is a typical Autumn day, raining like cats and dogs and very dull. But it's so warm and cozy indoors, who wants to go out anyway?
Monday, my three daughters came for the day, to celebrate all our birthdays! Yes, we celebrated our birthdays right on our Thanksgiving Day and what better day than that can you get together with your family? I'm just so thankful for having my children. Anyway, we ordered in Chinese food and I had them take home all leftovers, so no temptation left here for me. One daughter did leave me a small container of her homemade cookies, I love to have one or two with my nightly tea so that was just fine! We had a lovely day together, caught up with all news and had a great time just being together!
Autumn is so beautiful, another thing to be thankful for!
And when we think about it, there are many things each day that we can be thankful for. I'm thankful for all of you SP friends, thankful for my caring family, so much much more that makes my days worth it!
