Update on Plan 3

Haven't had my veins checked yet but since Thanksgiving I have lost from 180.6 to 170. That is 10.6 pounds! It has to be doing some good, for my heart at least. I am eating about 14g of fat a day (so my body can use the D3 I take) and 5-10 mg of cholesterol (for the B12).
I have brown rice and beans together once a day for the Amino Acids that we get from meat.

I used to think I could never give up meat but I don't miss it. The vegan recipes available now suit my taste buds just fine. After all the years of eating a lot of meat and fat, this is wonderful to me. I had a nasty little rash on my back that is going away now. Having a lot of drug allergies I can't help but believe that it was caused by the antibiotics they give to the animals so they will fatten up for market.
I still have had no chest pain. I eased off on the exercise intensity for the last 6 weeks but put a little "oomph" into it today. emoticon
I will keep you updated with new blogs that relate to this. I think I have found my permanent eating plan/happy place.
