This little munchkin, Violet, is delightful. No, I haven't been able to meet her in person yet due to the virus and she is 10 months old, but I get to watch her grow through photos. She has 4 teeth now and pretty proud of them!

Hazel is getting to the stage (temporarily I'm sure) where she doesn't want her photo taken but here she is - she loves putting puzzles together and I hear she does a great job with them.

Something no one seems to be talking about but it is happening to a lot of us - - no hairdressers! How are you managing with that? I wash and air dry mine and believe me, my hair does not like it's new hairdresser, ME, lol. But seeing how many are in the hospitals and so very many losing their lives due to this virus, our hair is just a minor blimp for us. It would seem that all women are feeling that way, we're learning what is precious and that is Life! I'm so thankful that my family and friends are all still well, that means more than anything to me.

Speaking of which, my niece who has been taking me grocery shopping for the past few years but has been unable to do that since she hurt her neck in a fall in November, thinks she is getting well enough to come for a short visit tomorrow. Since no one has been coming to my apartment and my niece has been going nowhere, we feel it will be a safe visit. How happy I'll be just to see her and we enjoy each other's company so much! I hope this comes to happen tomorrow.

That's about it from my little piece off the world. Be happy, stay healthy, keep safe.

LOL - I know exactly what you mean about hair! Mine has gotten so long, people that see me out walking don't recognize me. In fact, my niece saw it over the summer and commented that she'd never seen my hair that long before. I had to tell her it was because my hair has never BEEN this long before!

Adorable photos. My hairdresser came to my house back in JUly and cut my hair. But since then I have been too cautious to let her come back. SO my hair is a mess. emoticon

My hair's not much of a problem. It's long and curly, I just cut the ends a little every month. I do lots of deep conditioning and can put it in a bun or ponytail. My mom, on the other hand, had short hair and it's become long past her shoulders and she's not happy with it. I had to give her some hair ties and headbands to help her out.

Hazel and Violet are just too precious. Enjoy your visit.

Violet is such a cutie as is Hazel. Our beauty shops are open but only one client at a time. At least I can get a hair cut. Tried to let it grow out but couldn't stand that in between growth so was glad when the shops opened.

Hello from my little piece of the world to your piece.
    Your granddaughters are lovely.

My hairdresser has called me twice. I used to visit her every 6 to 8 weeks for a haircut.
Now it's down to my shoulders and I have a ponytail. It's OK. Joe actually likes it. Go figure.

They are so sweet! Photos are great. They grow so quickly. We do have hairdressers here opened with all the protocols. Nonetheless, we're not an example in handling Covid-19 contagions.

Happy for you that you will be able to see your niece tomorrow for a nice long visit. I go to my hairdresser about every 3 months. It is really safe because she only has one customer into her shop at a time and both of us wear a mask and she sanitizes everything. Anyway I feel very safe. Have a great day and enjoy that visit.

I’m glad you will be able to see your niece. Hopefully you will be able to see Hazel and Violet in a few months

My hair hasn’t been cut for almost a year... last February... i’m using a combination of ponytails, clips and head bands.

    Stay safe,

Always Love your Blogs & hearing how things are going.

Sure do miss seeing grands(who are adults now) + great grands. Our oldest GGD turned 4 on January 9th & her brother will be 2 in February.

We've been saving $ on hair cuts. We bought clipper which I use to cut DH hair & most of mine. DH has vastly improve on layer the back of mine. We're lucky to both like short hair and see us continuing to do our own when this is over.

Glad to hear your niece is improving. Enjoy the visit

Have a wonderful year Gloria & keep writing blogs emoticon

I have been lucky, my hairdresser still takes appointments, but only 1 at a time, you must wear a mask... she uses disposable coverings, sanitizes the chair between each person... she wares a mask too.. you have to sanitize your hands when you come in and when you leave. She does the same... she also asks when you call not to cone in if your feeling sick, have a sore throat, or temp..
    We are thankful for her...
Children do go through stages... like something's one day and then not the next...
    Enjoy your visit...
    Have a healthy week.

Everyone’s hair is so different, can’t advise you but I ended up just letting mine grow and keep it back with a headband...do you have one?
