Losing It

I lost the pounds that came creeping up. I owned them and was fully accountable. I had stopped tracking and did more snacking. So how did I lose it?

1.) Track it all.
I had to track every weightwatchers point and stop deluding myself about portion size.


2.) Increase exercise
I just increased by 10-20 minutes when possible.

3.) Watch the Carbs
I don't go low carb, but even with healthy carbs I need to watch it. I am not an athlete in training and my middle-age body doesn't do well with too many carbs.


4.) Eat whole foods as much as possible especially vegetables.



5.) Pay attention to how much better my mental health is with healthy food and exercise. OK, well to be honest I am still losing it a bit mentally because the world is crazy and life is crazy, but I don't completely lose it because I treat my body right. Plus I remind myself if I do get Covid, the more healthy my weight and body, the better chance I have of fighting it.
