2021 - 100 Days | Phase 1 - Day 18 - Working on My Cardio

Today was a busy but otherwise good day. The day started out kind of cloudy-dark but the skies eventually parted and showed some blue sky and sunshine in between. I got another great 90 minute walk in on the roads.
I am focused on getting more consistent with my cardio walking. I really love to walk - even for long periods - but I also get preoccupied with work and other things, so sometimes I feel like I *should* be getting something else done instead of exercise. BUT I know that I need the activity for my health so most of the time I will push myself out the door and I am always glad I did. Exercise helps my body and my mind, and I always love getting out in nature. Every day is a new opportunity to improve on what has gone before.
I am doing strength training 3 x week but I am also trying to incorporate different cardio back into my workouts... I lost my way a little bit after my family drama this Fall so I am trying to get myself back on track. I want to build back in additional cardio exercise - going up and down stairs for timed periods, adding more walks to my days, adding some dancing and maybe other exercise DVDs. I need to keep myself motivated with activities I enjoy and find fun, otherwise I simply won't do it.
