Night Skiing - 1-23-21

For those who just couldn't get in enough skiing during the day, night skiing is also an option!

While the other two photos show Mt. Werner and the lights of night skiing from across the valley (the pictures were taken from Emerald Mountain), THIS one shows what it's like coming down those lighted slopes:



I like that it shows Emerald Mountain across the valley as the last glow of the sun lingers in the west.

I ended up on the phone with my niece for THREE HOURS yesterday - not unlike my conversations with her mom. We don't talk often, but when we do, there's a lot of pent-up demand! She's looking at a new opportunity within the company she works for, and is also looking for a different apartment to move to, so she is juggling a lot of change right now. She lives in Denver and is single, so this past year of isolating has been difficult. She sees the people she works with, but that's about it. I know we will ALL be glad when we can mingle and hug again!
