Happy Family Day - for most of Canada
Monday, February 15, 2021
Not all Provinces will be celebrating this day but for those of us who do, it's been a long holiday weekend for working folk. Fortunately that means my son so he's taking today to make plenty of cabbage rolls. That means I'll have some given me and how I love them, Yum!
I'm not getting many photos of my wee great-granddaughters, partly because they're making videos of them in place of photos. But Hazel skates pretty good now and plays hockey with her Dad on a rink. It is so cute to see her with her little hockey stick, rushing around to beat her Dad, lol. She is doing well in all things, I'm happy to say.
Violet is now walking but again, it's on video not photos. She is being taught things by her Mom and is enjoying everything. She has a really pleasant personality & loves playing with her older sister Hazel - she adores Hazel!
Our lockdown will be partially lifted tomorrow. My hairdresser is going to be coming back and has me down as her very first client. That means my long mane will be getting cut off this week, Yay. She hopes to come tomorrow but has to make out her schedule first.
We got snow last week and last night and have a Winter Storm warning but I always take a 'wait and see' attitude because often the forecast is wrong! Either way is fine with me, I'm still housebound. I have new masks to wear when I go out, possibly next week's grocery run. A woman in my city made them and let's hope you can read them in these photos I took. They're actually nicer than how they show in pictures. They all look nice when I tried them on, (they look a bit wrinkled in photos) the white one has a photo of a cute cow with the saying "Six feet Heifer", lol.
Wishing all in Canada who celebrate, a Happy Family Day, relax, enjoy your family because "Family is Priceless!"
