My great-granddaughter fell out of her bed Tuesday night and broke her collarbone! She's only 3 1/2 years old and quite a trooper. This is her when she came home from hospital yesterday.
.

Nothing can be done about the break, it just has to heal itself. Since she's right handed and it happened on her right side, she's adjusting and using her left hand nicely. These are this morning.

She did her 100 piece jigsaw puzzle using her left hand! And that's a card in front of her that her Grandma made and took to her this morning. She's a strong wee girl and is going to do fine. Right now she's on lots of meds for the pains but is feeling more like herself today.

Okay, that's sad and broke my heart but we have to keep on with our days. I had a breathing test done yesterday at the hospital and I think it went well. Getting out in the fresh air was wonderful, too. My DIL took me and she also brought me over some of my son's cabbage rolls, a meal she had prepared for me and some sandwiches she had made me and believe me, everything she makes is healthy! I can make my own food & meals but these made by others are extra special, I know they were made with Love.

My weight at the appt yesterday seemed a bit up but when I got on my own scales this morning, it was down again so I think I'll just go by my own scales. Even so, I've lost and found the same few pounds since forever!! Today is as good a day as any to start taking better care of my body and that's what I'm doing!!

Don't forget to feed the little animals outdoors, as well as the birds. They need a bit of help with food too during the winter months.
