Hi Angie, welcome to Sparkpeople. Glad you have joined us.

You mention IF - and that you are going to skip breakfast. I know a lot of people do that (skip a meal) but I have found for me that does not work. But I have found that what works for me is one day I will make sure I eat to my calorie limited choosing the best foods out there, then the next day I will go lower in the amount of food - still have 3 meals just less. I have found for my body this works well as it seems to keep my body wondering if there is going to be enough one day to the next. I have lost 48 pounds doing it this way. But I have been on a plateau for some time so what I have done is restart my program - I closed my account here and started over - new account, new sparkpage. If you are able click on the Premium Coaching (it does have a cost but it is so worth it) The first part takes you through the 1st 90 days - along with that I have just completed The Sparkpeople 28 day program (click on 'learn' above and you will see how to get to that program - worth taking). I am finding that refocusing on all areas of my life - food / physical / mental / spiritual = when all of these are all lined up then I do well. I believe we all have the knowledge of what to do, we just need to follow through.

Send me a sparkmail if you want to discuss this more.

IF helps keep me on track. I still use the nutrition and fitness trackers but IF gives me a schedule. Good luck and welcome to SparkPeople!
