Hi everyone,

I am not new here, I joined several years ago and have been visiting on and off since then. I have learned so much from this site and community!

However, I have never really managed to build a support network here. I think it might be one of the keys to really get the most out of SparkPeople.

So if you want to have a new contact and give and receive some peer pressure and peer support, do add me as your contact.

I am over 40, from Northen Europe. Have some kilos to lose, lot of body fat to shed and lot of muscle to (hopefully) build and lot of stamina and fitness to improve and lot of stress levels to lower and lot of welbeing to nurture. I have several chronic injuries and health problems which make things not so easy for me, but I have never given up completely from trying.

I recently bought an activity tracker and so far it seems very motivating, plus has given me so much good info about me and my health. I like walking, Nordic walking (with poles), mini trampoline, Pilates, Yoga... I also love weight training, but due to my injuries it is too difficult right now. Also due to my injuries I can't ride a bicycle anymore much, but I am considering a Kickbike, it might just work with my limitations. I used to swim relatively often too, maybe getting back to it would be fun. I live very close to a swimming hall, so who knows!

My challenge is to keep on exercising, even on the times of high stress and when I am not feeling well.
