Hello! It’s nice to meet you all and I hope everyone is having a good day so far. :) This is my first time using SparkPeople and my second time losing weight.

Briefly, I lost ~20 pounds several years back when I got a little “fluffy” after transitioning to a sedentary job. I kept that off for a good while until life threw me for a loop and I ended up getting depressed, using food to self-soothe. Eventually I sought treatment and I’m now in a much better place, mentally, to deal with the 40 pounds I put on during that difficult period.

I plan to use the same method as last time- nothing super strict, just cutting back on the junk food/soda and getting more exercise. I hope participating here will help keep me focused and inspired on my journey!
