I know you will love it here! Make a blog and post regularly in it, explore the message boards, community feed and post updates on your SparkPage!
I have found it most helpful to get involved with the social aspect of Sparkpeople.

Also explore the food/fitness trackers, as they are so helpful!

The more you get involved the more you will benefit, that’s what has helped me!

Welcome!

The community here is so supportive.
I do recommend you make a Spark Page and make it public so other members can stop by with support and encouragement.

Best of luck to you!

Hi everyone!
I've read some of the posts here and have felt really touched by how supportive the community here appears to be. I massively gained weight after getting hypothyroidism and I've been trying to lose weight for the past 7 years and was able to lose about fifteen/twenty. With COVID19 causing me to be cooped up at home and not going out as much, I've massively regained all the weight. I'm motivated to lose the weight but the lack of success from before in terms of being goal directed, having self-discipline and committing to this goal without veering off of track does make me feel discouraged. I do want to try again and am hoping perhaps this forum can give me a sense of motivation and accountability until I can come to a point where I can internalize these things and push myself forward.
Nervous, disheartened sometimes but also optimistic to move forward and fail several times but keep striving forward nonetheless.

Thank you guys!
