That is what I used but nothing pictured resembled what I'm talking about. The exercise works way more than the triceps, but that may be an adequate stand-in. This other move is basically a baby version of a more advanced gymnastic move. I don't care so much about calorie burn; just wanted a way to record that I had done something intense for one minute that wasn't a plank or squat, which are the other two moves I will be rotating. Those will be easy to find!

Thanks for getting back to me!

Hi,

I'm not sure if I was clear in my recommendation. The exact name of the fitness item in our database is "Strength training (body weight) exercises". That covers any body weight strength training that is not otherwise listed the database. I do believe the calories burned estimate for that match what you are doing. Personally, I use this one for all that type fitness instead of itemizing each separate fitness that I do.

If you do not like that one, the closest thing is "Triceps Dips". You could also use that if you prefer.

I did use that and there was nothing close. Maybe I'll just use one of them to record, telling a white lie... emoticon But I will really have done an exercise!

Hi,

I would use the general entry for Strength training (body weight) exercises.

Hope that helps.

I'd like to somehow log on Spark an exercise I do that consists of sitting in a chair, placing my hands on the sides of the seat, and then lifting my torso off the chair, just barely resting my toes on the floor. It works my arms intensely and engages my core. Eventually, I will be trying to take my feet off the floor completely. I've already spent a fair amount of time searching for something similar on Spark, and would rather be exercising more or preparing great food than keep browsing!

Do any more experienced Sparkers or a coach know how I can log something close to this on Spark? tx
