For mixes we do like the birch benders (similar to kodiak)- they have different options like high protein, paleo, etc. I like to make crepes because then I can fill them up with filling ingredients like fruit and yogurt. I recently made banana crepes (where you add banana to the batter- i just googled it) and they were a bit different in texture but still quite tasty! and there's always the good old egg + banana 'pancake' but i prefer to add some oat flour to that.

as mentioned below, it really depends on what you're looking for. how you choose to top your pancakes can also help you balance your macros if that's something you're focusing on.

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

Hi There!

Since we don't know what your nutritional needs are (higher protein, higher fat, carb or low carb), it's pretty hard to suggest a recipe. I would recommend going to the Spark Recipes site (either hit the RECIPES tab at the top of the page if you are using the full site - which will take you to sparkrecipes.com - or download the Spark Recipes app if you prefer that access) and doing a search for "pancakes".

The main search page for me gives lots of different options: recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipes.asp?food=p
ancake&a=

No doubt you'll find something to suit your needs!

Sir Terry Pratchett: "Science is not about building a body of known 'facts'. It is a method for asking awkward questions and subjecting them to a reality-check, thus avoiding the human tendency to believe whatever makes us feel good."

"The Inuit Paradox" ( discovermagazine.com/2004/oct/inuit-
paradox
): "...there are no essential foods—only essential nutrients. And humans can get those nutrients from diverse and eye-opening sources. "
