Thu, 27 Feb 2020 16:02:07 EST It's time to look after myself For the last 2 years I was caring for my husband having Alzheimer. I did it because I could not think of anybody else to give him the care he deserved. He's been such a good companion for over 20 years and it's not because his condition was worn out that he did not deserve to be care with love. Of course I did not have much time to look after myself and now, being alone, I need to get back in shape. I have a long way to go. Wed, 26 Feb 2020 16:29:18 EST Hello! Hello everyone! I hope you are having an awesome morning! I joined sparkpeople about a week ago, but I've been doing this "dieting" thing for what seems like my whole life. For the past year though, I got off the rollercoaster and went low carb/high fat. I am always looking for new friends and inspiration along the way. Wed, 11 Dec 2019 13:39:41 EST New But Not Real New Hi, I'm Susan, and I've been a member here for a long time but haven't posted or tracked in quite a while. I'm 71 and retired and live in Central Virginia. I have lost weight since I have been here with downgrade of my thyroid med and following the Keto eating plan but I found my way back to my favorite, SP. 524 249
I enjoy all messages and articles but my favorites are success stories.
I'm so happy to be back.
Tue, 10 Dec 2019 21:55:03 EST First post -- got to get my *&*$ together I have a long history of being active, but during the past year I've totally gone off the rails. My biggest problem is stress eating. I sit on my butt dealing with software development issues and sink my woes into food. It has to stop.
