I always thought I'd want more than one baby. I was very lucky to have a pretty easy pregnancy, but with a little one it's not like I can come home from work, crash, and order takeout! Balancing all the demands a fresh baby has while we already have one child seems... impossible, yet obviously people do it all the time! My respect for parents has certainly grown even more after having my own baby! I have typical concerns like not being able to spend enough ... Mon, 22 Jun 2020 10:03:25 EST My baby/toddler will not sleep http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=61&imparent=52224252 I have struggled trying to get my 21 month old to sleep through the night. He sleeps in spurts but I can not get the child to sleep for more than 2 hours before getting restless and trying to wake up. We have an established routine, no electronic interference before bed, darken room, have experimented with noise machine. I am at my whits end. I haven't had more than 2 hours sleep in almost two years. Does anyone have any suggestions? For me it has been an eternity of waiting. Im currently focusing on weightloss in hopes it will increase the odds of conceiving naturally. However if medical interventions must occur, the doctor recommends that I loose 30 or more pounds. Who else is currently facing this struggle, feel free to share. We both have trouble with weight gains and attempts to lose. Since I've started trying to lose weight, my sister has been very negative. I am super tired working full time and taking care of him -he's also been sick loads since he started daycare so I'm up at nights and I always end up turning to chocolate and junk food to keep me going! Plus no time for a gym membership. I'd really like to fit back into some of my old clothes! Anyone else struggling with this?
