Hi Paul. Congratulations on your early weight loss success. You're right though, maintaining the momentum over the long haul is difficult. Stress is a major factor to losing focus and momentum toward our goals. Be sure to deal with your stress as you deal with your weight. Don't put it off. Weight loss alone will not make the stress go away. There are many resources on SparkPeople for managing stress.

My Name is Paul,i live in washington state but originally from England. joined this site to lose weight of course but also to re educate myself to eat sensible. Losing the amount of weight i really need to lose is a big challenge but i hope possible so i'm looking for friends who find it difficult to keep on a diet or should i say keep disciplined to it. i work nights and slowly due to stress at work and my personal life , my weight has ballooned to a dangerous level and need to get on track and get healthy. i hope i'm not the only one out there who finds work and home stress just lead you back to the comfort food and lots of it !!! lol. hope to hear off you soon. take care :-)
