Hello and welcome!

Sounds like planning ahead will help you get out of the cycle you are in. I can relate to the starving after work issue. I always have some snacks with me like carrot/celery sticks, handful of almonds, lo-fat mozzarella sticks, apples or other fruit with me so that late in the afternoon I grab 1 - 2 of these items while I am driving home and this helps me not eat everything in sight when I walk through the door.

The Weight Watcher recipe mentioned by MoodyMolly is a good one.

Just recently, I read somewhere about the Weight Watchers Basic Veggie Soup. I have made it and tried it and it is pretty good but anyway, i make up a double batch on Sunday and divide it up into about 10 small plastic containers and freeze them. When I walk in the door from work, I get one out and microwave it and sit down and eat it before I start preparing dinner. IT REALLY HELPS!!!! Google weight watchers vegetable soup and try it. It Works!!!!

Hello,
I am almost 57 and only have a few pounds to lose. I exercise on a regular basis but my eating habits are terrible. Working full-time leaves me exhausted at the end of the day and I eat everything in site. By time dinner is ready I am not hungry anymore because I filled up already. My goal is to develop healthy eating habits and lose about 8 to 10 pounds.
