Thank you! It doesn't make any sense to me to not go all the way for women who are pregnant or nursing...you can't sign up if you are, but there's a resource center, but they took away the message boards? Sounds a bit stupid, to me. Oh well, lol.

Wow! I am so sad to hear that BabyFit is no longer there. I used it quite often for 3 of my children..I still talk to some of those BF mamas to this day, and most of them I met 7 years ago!

There is this resource for all things baby/pregnancy related: www.sparkpeople.com/resource/resourc

They did get rid of the message boards though, which I think is a great loss. I relied on that support and advice from women who were going through the same things I was going through!

ROLL TIDE!
One day or day one. You decide.

You don't need another human being to make your life complete, but let's be honest. Having your wounds kissed by someone who doesn't see them as disasters in your soul but cracks to put their love into is the most calming thing in this world.

Hi, everyone! So I used to use Sparkpeople once upon a time, but I can't even remember when, exactly. To be honest, I'd ,forgotten about it, oops! But I'm here again because I'm trying my darnest to get serious about becoming healthier and getting in shape. I'm almost 32 and have two daughters, a 2.5yo and a 6mo. Being able to play with them, setting a good example for their own health, and staving off diabetes which runs in my family are my reasons for being here now. Oh, and I'd love to look a little nicer, too.

But can ya'll clear up the confusion! Lol, Sparkpeople used to have a sister site, Babyfit, right? But I think Google says it's no longer so, just merged into Sparkpeople--true? Ok, great, but what I don't understand is, if there are resources for pregnant and breastfeeding moms on this site, how was it I couldn't even create an account unless I marked NO on that question?? I understand this site can't take the place of a doctor, but seriously, it was not going to let me sign up if I marked YES to being pregnant or breastfeeding. So, I marked NO. But I AM nursing my infant, and I will be looking into the relevant resources. This is mainly out of curiosity for me, as I never was very good at logging and tracking my food; mostly I signed up again to help me become more active.
