Thanks Lynda,
That is great advice, I will try and cultivate a few friendships, I dont really wanna do set tasks everyday either, rather have people to correspond with about what I have achieved, even if it was like a burst of exercise every couple of days-I hope Im making sense.Anyway Im glad I found this group as I am pretty determined to get into shape as fast as is safely recommended, look forward to speaking with you again, X LuCy

Lucy, emoticon to SparkPeople and a great team!

My suggestion is not to try to find 'one' person to be an accountability buddy but to develop a number of people in your support network. This team is a great place to start as it's pretty active and members care about each other. I'm on a number of teams and have made a number of really good SparkFriends by corresponding on the message boards and through blogs with occasional one-to-one sparkmails.

I would love to be your friend and to stay in touch but I would feel too much pressure if I was 'the only one' to support you because I have a totally irregular schedule and can't commit to doing anything 'every day,' although I do stay in touch with a number of people on a somewhat regular basis.

One way to 'meet' others is to read blogs - if you go to the 'team stream' on the right side of the screen, you'll be able to link to ALL blogs written by team members - read them and if you identify with the person, post a comment. Please write blogs of your own so others will get to know you better - also do the same thing on the discussion boards. There is a Daily Chat thread on this team, as well as several others with 'daily' postings - do the same with any other teams you join and before you know it, you will have dozens of people in your support network.

Good luck on your journey and I would love for you to make me a 'friend' - I'll return the favor and do the same so we can get to know each other better.
