In fifth grade I thought THE GOOD EARTH was my favorite book..as an adult when I reread it, not so much. I love to read about people from all over the world.

My favorite books are books that draw you in as if your family or friends. Books written by Debbie Macomber or Sheryl Woods. Although I do read other authors and topics as well.

Each day is a step closer to feeling better and looking good.

My preteen was probably one of S.E. Hinton's

Rebecca

He drew a circle that shut me out--
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But Love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in!

New to SparkPeople and to this group ~ Love to read! As a reading specialist, I'm curious what your favorite book was as preteen/teen. So hard to narrow to one, but I'd have to chose A Wrinkle in Time.
