Hi Y'all!!! if you want personal stuff, please, check out my page and drop me a line. I just wanted to share why I joined the team...for myself. Okay, so that's short answer. I needed to change up my routine is truth of the matter. I know that through my continue prayers and my continue doing the work, and eating right I can continue to look, feel, and do better. Hi everyone, I'm Theresa! I started the challenge on Monday and posted my goals but forgot to introduce myself.. I'm 22 and hoping to loose my first 10lbs with this challenge! I've never been big on exercise and usually quit after a week, but I think this challenge will be the motivation that I need to keep going!! Good luck everyone!!

Hi, my name is Detra and I am keeping a promise to myself to work on my health this year. I am a RN who delivers babies and takes care of moms - I am also a mom to a 20 year old, wife, sister and I also help take care of my in-laws....this is not a complaint; THIS IS WHO I AM. I work 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and I usually work 60-70 hours per week. One my goals is to learn to plan meals, exercise and the biggest one is to take care of ME!!! I have neglected this for so long and now am paying for it. I have a very supportive husband, family who are always encouraging but find that I need a little more and sometimes even a good push/shove.

This is my life and I now have the power to control it and enjoy it!!! Here's to you 2011!!! emoticon

Hi I'm Cindi. 47, divorced, 4 kids, 2 daughters-in-law and 2 grandbabies.
I need to lose at least 150 pounds. I need to be healthy, get my blood pressure under control, escape the confines of sleep apnea, be able to keep up with my family, do things I cannot do anymore. Fitting in an airplane seat would be fabulous as most of my family lives on the other side of the continent. I do not want to be a slave to my body anymore.

Hello,
I like the idea of the 28 day challenge. I'm almost 60, a new grandma (twin girls!) and newly retired. A lot of good things going. recent physical exam reveals I need to lose at least 20 pounds to improve my health.

Hi, I'm Patti. I haven't done regular exercise in almost a year. I want to get back into exercising and eating healthier. I dislocated my shoulder last year in mid-January. I wasn't able to take medical from Curves for as long as I wanted while I was recuperating, so I cancelled my membership. Finances are tight, so I can't afford to join back up. That's why I decided to try the Boot Camp Workout Challenge. I'd like to lose at least 25 lbs.

Not sure if I have done this already, but... my name is Tanya and my goal is to lose 80 lbs. I am trying for 10 -15 a month (which I know is alot) but I want to get through and be healthier, happier and more fit. I work out daily, food and stress are my major issues...
If only I could grab a carrot when I am stressed out instead of searching the house for chocolate!

Hi Everyone, my name is Cathy and I joined this team to see if I can motivate myself into exercising more and eat healthier. I have two grown children both married and one granddaughter (5) who I take care of during the week. I don't overeat, just don't always make the healthiest choices. I would like to correct that :) I own two businesses online so am always busy, but don't exerice like I should. So hoping this motivates me. Good luck everyone!

Hi all, I decided to join the boot camp and then got a really bad cold so I am starting today. I got an iPad frm my son for Christmas so I can watch the videos in my living room! Our home computer is a desk top and it is not in a very good location for this.

Hello Everyone!

I am looking forward to getting healthier and completing this challenge. I restarted my weight lose program in May 2010 and the last three months got side tracked. (I got discourage when I started strength training and the scale kept going up. I just stopped) Luckily, I didn't gain any of the hard 32lbs I lost! Whooray! Good Luck GuyS

Hello everyone, I am so excited about finishing the 28-day bootcamp program. I have been alternating running and circuit training as my normal routine, but I feel like I need an extra kick in the butt. I have finished two days so far using Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred as my cardio so far. I am looking forward to big results!

Hi, I am Noelani. I am looking forward to doing this challenge to get my strength and energy back. When I started loosing weight my strength and energy really nose dived. I also have an old knee injury that got much worse. As a result I stopped walking much which made things even worse. I have been going to physical therapy for a month now and can do much more. I am hoping that more work outs will help bring back the muscle and energy I lost. I will have to modify a lot of the videos because they would make my injury worse. The physical therapist is helping me figuring out which exercises are safe to do.

Okay. I hope I am doing this right. I sometimes get lost on this site and forget what I have joined up for. So Hopefully you will forgive me...Hopefully because I signed up today and not the first of the 2011 year...I can still do this. I am 47 years old. I have 3 children. One is still in High School. I love the outdoors. I love animals. I am weighing in at 180lbs righ now. I had lost 30 and have gained 20 back. I want to see the scale at 130. I want to feel good about myself and feel healthy. I am hoping this will be a New Years goal I can achieve. Only thing I have working against me....I love to eat...and procrastination. This is a motivational site. I hope it helps me.

Hello! I'm trying to make this the year that I actually make it to my goal weight - something I have never accomplished before. I had been on Weight Watchers a year ago and managed to maintain, then lost some weight on Atkins for a while. Since June, I have gained 40 pounds!!!!

I recently started seeing a counselor about my weight, and it has helped, but my eating is still out of control. Right now I'm focusing on drinking enough water and getting exercise in. I'm hoping this challenge will help! :)

I'm Jenny from PA. I lost 25 lbs last year at Curves and doing Zumba, but they changed the Zumba plan starting this January so I needed something else as my extra motivation and the 28 day challenge fit the bill perfectly.

I want to maintain my weight loss and if possible, lose another 20 but I am in no hurry. I love the tracking system and the easy to follow steps for each day because I can check them off when I complete them and that makes me feel so good about myself.

Hello I am Lynn and I am trying to work in daily exercise to an overloaded daily routine. I do well on the days I get to Curves (3-4X weekly) but the other days are a bit tough. Will try the bootcamp videos and hope to make time to use my zumba DVD. I was taking zumba class until recreation ended it. Hoping it will come to the Curves gym soon.
